Europontex Refrigeration Panels - The Star Range of 2010

“Our star panel range in 2010 was industrial refrigeration panels,” said Europontex Business Division Manager, Paulo Teixeira. He added: “This year we intend to build on this strong performance with our and fast delivery service, and market sensitive pricing.”

“The panels, specially designed for use in cold storage facilities, derive their excellent cold isolation performance from the use of injected rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) of 40kg/m3,” explained Teixeira. “We put a lot of effort into highlighting the ease of assembly for this panel range, as well as the effectiveness of the insulation at the joints; this combination has appealed to a global market which continues to expand with consumer demand for perishable goods.”

“Panels are provided with thicknesses of 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, and 200 mm, which is applicable for roofing and facades construction. In standard supply, the foam is produced with the M2 and M1 qualification, and they are classified as fire resistant according to European Standard EN 13501 / 1 for ISO- CE panels.”

Teixeira added: “Europontex can also offer panels with Polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam on request. Referred to as PIR, this product is fire resistant b-s2-d0 according to European Standard EN-14509 of 19 June, 2006. We can also supply panels made of stainless steel sheets to ensure complex system needs are available from a single order point for all client’s cold storage construction needs.”
